James Guida's writing has appeared online at The New Yorker and The New York Review of Books, and also in publications such as Meanjin, Orion, n+1, Electric Literature, Agni, Tin House, A Public Space, Yale Review, and Raritan. A book of aphorisms he wrote, ‘Marbles’, came out in 2009 and was listed by John Freeman as one of the best books of that year. He is the recipient of a Fellowship in Nonfiction Literature from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
While for a time based in New York, he now lives in Australia.
